A youth performance addressing GBV for the Albanian Community in Dragash Municipality was successfully presented on 18th of September at School Yard “Ruzhdi Berisha” in front of at least 300 young people in Dragash.
The Performance called “The cycle of violence” has tackled the topic of domestic violence. After the performance we followed a post performance discussion with the youth present on the topic of domestic violence, the impact in women and children, consequences of violence in the family and the community, the rights of women to work etc. The performance was part of Youth Street action addressing GBV in Dragash municipality with the support of UNFPA and implemented by ARTPOLIS.
The event was embraced by students and teachers as a unique event organized for the first time in Dragash, tackling GBV and presenting it in public spaces.
