In honor of the International Day of the Girl Child, ARTPOLIS with the support of UNFPA organized awareness raising activities in three municipalities: Pristina, Kosovo Polje and Dragas during the period of October 16-20, 2014, through a performance that was created by young people.

The performance elaborated six issues on which the Kosovar society is mostly superstition, which were presented by six girls, including: Legacy, Programming / IT, Football, Science, Electro and Army. The girls were sitting in chairs, and each of them represented a case through clothing and accessories, as well as the written posters set in front of them, providing awareness messages to society about not prejudicing such professions.

The events were organized in different environments, indoors and outdoors, in front the audience that included: youth, parents and teachers, from different communities. All performances were followed by open discussion with the audience, by giving more information on International Day of the Girl Child and discussing issues that girl of the society of Kosovo face every day.
