UNFPA office in Kosovo donated an Ultrasound to the Main Family Health Centre (MFHC) in Fushe Kosova. The ultrasound is provided to increase quality of screening to pregnant women for early warning complications in pregnancy and child birth.

The ultrasound was officially handed over to the Director of the Main Family Health Centre in Fushe Kosovo by  Ms Visare Mujko Nimani-Officer in Charge  of UNFPA office in Kosovo . In this occasion Ms. Mujko Nimani highlighted that this donation is a result of the hard work of the health care providers especially the   gynecologist outpatient service within MFHC. UNFPA will continue to support and strengthen MFHC capacities for better access and quality of health care services for all citizens of Fushe Kosova, and even broader.

The director of the MFHC thanked UNFPA and other development partners for supporting improvement of the health sector in the municipality of Fushë Kosova, and stated that together with his staff they will continue to serve all citizens of Fushë Kosova.
