Red Cross Kosovo with the support of UNFPA Kosovo and the Ministry of Health delivered a training for health professionals in the Municipality of Podujevë on Minimal Initial Service Package – MISP.

The training which was delivered by Dr. Merita Vuthaj aimed to inform health professionals on the utilization of MISP in order to increase national capacity to deliver integrated sexual and reproductive health services for women, men and youth with special focus on vulnerable groups including in emergency and humanitarian settings.

The participants also had an opportunity to learn first-hand from Dr. Zarife Miftari UNFPA SRH and Youth Programme Analyst who shared her personal experience regarding the management of MISP kits in countries with emergency situations.

The project will last until the end of this year and will benefit 10 municipalities namely, Prishtina, Fushë Kosovë, Obiliq, Ferizaj, Gjilan, Gjakovë, Mitrovicë, Vushtrri, Kamenicë and Podujevë.
